This was sinful.
But beautiful,rum sprinkled pannettone, covered with a rich custard
studded with candied fruit, topped with meringue
and slivered almonds...
Not only that, but this was followed with a shot of Grappa
sipped as my host's eyes gleamed wickedly across the table.
I think it was payback time for underestimating him..
