Double Standards

Why is it...
We are so quick to criticise our own countrymen
make racist comments about the indians, chinese and malays
yet when a foreigner turns around and says
exactly what we say about certain countrymen anyway
we are so quick to jump to their defense and all hell breaks loose?

wouldnt matter to me if someone made a general racist comment...but i would stand up for a personal racist comment...my 2 cents...

I'm talking bout double standards la, things that we have no qualms saying ourselves yet balk when other people say.

Kanneh I know what you're saying la you cradle-snatching oaf!

Um I believe the correct term is Cradle-Robber. Snatching cradles is just a minor felony...

But but but. The Bard, he maketh sense.Snatching a cradle is different from robbing a cradle no?I mean why would anyone but a hard-up mother want an empty cradle?

And um yes, back to racism..I dig!

below the belt ja...and there's nothing going on...we have well defined boundries...and how would you 'rob' a cradle? of the milk bottle kept in the tray underneath?

Its the same as calling your own mother a bitch, then its ok, but if someone else were to say it, then you would get offended.

cradle snatcher=correct
grave robber=correct
turd burglar=correct

You would rob a cradle of its contents, ie, a baby!!!

Same way as if you snatched a cradle it would be for the contents and not the actual cradle
