'Twas Rather Smart

...of me to come to Denmark
because now that my aunt has someone
who actually understands her
Penang food craving
we sama-sama can feed off and indulge each
other's cravings.

Like Kway Teow Th'ng last Sunday

and chicken rice chicken
with meatballs, fish balls and cabai burung
steammmmm I tell you!

See, look professional hor?

But first we had to go to the asian markets
which was less of a market and more
of a lane of asian and middle eastern
stores cramped next to each other
seedy I tell you
so needed to disappear from there
but for Kway Teow Th'ng?
Worth it man.

Bard:Yes, more people SHOULD come!

Ana: My aunt made it but I kinda told her what to do. I did the presentation (=

May: You need one whole chicken. Boil water to a rolling boil in a big pot. Put the chicken in, lower heat and simmer for half an hour. Take the chicken out and plunge it in cold water (to make the skin smooth) then just chop it up and add soy sauce, sesame oil to taste. Garnish with spring onions.

You can make chicken rice chilli sauce with ginger, garlic, chillies, vinegar and a bit of sugar. Just blend equal amounts then add the vinegar and sugar at the end to your taste.

For chicken rice, rice you can use the stock from after boiling the chicken in place of water to cook rice. Add some salt and maybe garlic and ginger when in the rice cooker. Make sure that there is the chicken fat in the water from boiling the chicken.

Enjoy babes! Muax

juls: You can just go out and buy lah!

Hmmm...if it can be scratch made, I believe you could do it. So yes, it was a cop out...
