Heightened Sensitivity

For some reason
my nose is all funny today

I was sneezing like a bitch this morning
like I would
if someone hated me so much
that they coated all my belongings
with a fine dusting of pepper

It lasted for a good 30 minutes
snot was flying everywhere
(kidding, they were dry)

then it stopped
my sinuses cleared
and suddenly i started smelling things
on myself

see-sawing between
the powdery perfume of an old lady
and coagulated pig's blood
weird.

I can still smell it now
maybe I have a tumour
or something.
