Tired

Today I'm tired of being caught in the middle
I hate that I have to battle my own, my partner's, my friend's feelings
that there is no pleasing all at the same time
that no matter what it will be awkward
that one or the other might resent

I wish that it could be simpler, that people cared less, or more
that we could go with the flow; accept, forgive, forget
either or.
